Banks Credit Facilities Grew 6.5% in Nine Months

Latest figures published by the Central Bank of Jordan showed that total credit facilities extended by licensed banks increased by 6.5% during the first nine months of 2017 to amount to JD 24.4 billion, compared to JD 22.91 billion registered at the end of 2016. Total deposits at licensed banks stood at JD 32.75 billion in September 2017, compared to JD 32.90 billion recorded at the end of 2016.
